Member registration for Hybridfest 2008 is now closed.  But there are lots of activities for non members!  See the Activities Page for more information.

Although the public portion of Hybridfest spans two days (Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20), as a Hybridfest member you'll have access to even more fun:

• An extra half day of activities on Friday, July 18
• Post-show activities Saturday evening, July 19
• Pre-show activities Sunday morning, July 20

Members who attend Hybridfest will receive:

Hybridfest 2008 T-Shirt Hybridfest 2008 Goodie Bag Reserved space to show your car in the Hybrid Owners Car Showcase Eligibility to win awards in the Hybrid Owners Car Showcase Eligibility for special members-only door prizes You and your children (under age 16) receive free admission to the Dane County Fair Friday, Saturday and Sunday (July 18-19-20) Full access to the Hybridfest members-only hospitality area Invitation to compete in the Hybridfest MPG Challenge (limited number of entrants) on Friday, July 18 Hybridfest Member-only "How-To" sessions on Sunday morning July 20, 9 a.m. - noon. Invitations to the Hybridfest members-only gatherings during Hybridfest (see below) And, of course, you'll also receive the satisfaction of knowing you're helping make the Hybridfest event possible!

Hybridfest Members-Only Gatherings: July 18 Friday afternoon reception (free for members) July 18 Friday evening catered picnic ($5 per member) July 19 Saturday afternoon boxed lunch ($5 per member) July 19 Saturday evening awards banquet ($10 per member)

Hybridfest members must be at least 16 years old. Hybridfest members are invited to bring their children (15 and younger) to the member-only areas & gatherings at no extra charge other than meal fees. 

Membership is valid for one calendar year for Hybridfest events in Madison, WI.

Hybridfest 2008 Members-Only Events Schedule:

FRIDAY, JULY 18

All Friday activities are for Hybridfest members only, and will take place at Olin Turville Park.  The park is 5 minutes from the Alliant Energy Center.  From the Alliant Energy Center,  left on Rimrock, left on John Nolen, right on Olin Turville Ct. Here's a map.

• Noon – 9 p.m.: Member check-in at Olin Park, light snacks available. Member check-in is not at the Days Inn Hotel.

• Noon – 5 p.m.: MPG Challenge

• 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Picnic served (tickets must be ordered at registration)

• 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.: Ice cream social (open to all members and their guests)

• 7:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.: MPG Challenge awards

• 9 p.m.: Reception ends

SATURDAY, JULY 19

Except where noted, all Saturday activities are indoors, in the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall.

Saturday morning Hybridfest member-only activities:

• 9:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.: Member check-in continues in the Alliant Energy Center Exhibition Hall Lobby.  Member check-in is not at the Days Inn hotel.

• 8:30 a.m.: Members displaying cars gather their cars in staging area

• 9:30 a.m.: Hybrid cars proceed into the Fair Grounds for display in the Hybrid Owners Car Showcase

• 11:30 - 12:30 Pre-ordered member boxed lunches available for pickup; please present ticket from your check-in packet.

Saturday evening Hybridfest member-only activities: 

• 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Hybridfest Member Cocktail hour

• 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Hybridfest Member Banquet (for those Members who pre-registered)

• 8:30 p.m.: Special movie screening in the Days Inn of Madison hotel conference room

SUNDAY, JULY 20

Sunday morning Hybridfest member-only activities 9 a.m. – noon.

• 9 a.m. - noon: Technical Sessions (Days Inn of Madison hotel conference room)
